31. Farmer's Market Hinterglemm

Traditionally, guests and locals get together, drinking, enjoying the culinary delights and live music at this cosy event.

2012 sees the 31st Annniversary of the Hinterglemmer Farmer’s Market.  A festival that one should experience where the old traditions are kept alive!

Pageant with whip cracking, shooting club, beer wagon, festive coaches, local folk music and lots more!

Fun and amusement for all sizes
With the children’s ‚street of games‘, magic clown, bouncy castle, and children’s animation, also our small visitors are catered for at the Hinterglemm Farmer’s Market throughout the 3 days of festivities. 

Festival Programme:

Thursday, 09.08.2012

• 12.30 – Procession Zwölferkogel carpark
  This historical procession starts at the Zwölferkogel carpark along the promenade towards the Talschlß (end of valley): Lengau, Stefflalm, Lindlingalm and onto the Saalalm.
• Approx. 17.00 – arrival at the Saalalm
• 20.00 – the 2nd Farmer’s Market ‚Open Air‘ at the Hexenhäusl arena with "Freddy Pfisterband" and "Alpentrio Tirol"

Friday, 10.08.2012

• From 12.00 midday – music and entertainment on the Farmer’s Market stage
• 12.00 – 18.00 – Children and Family afternoon with Clown Show etc.
• Approx. 13.00 – return procession from the Saalalm.
• 14.00 – 4th Hinterglemmer ‚Tradional Couple‘ games.
• 18.00 – Procession of of the ‚Trachtenmusikkapellen‘ Saalbach Hinterglem
• 18.30 – Barrel tapping with the Mayor Peter Mittere and a concert by the music group from Piesendorf
• 20.00  – Entertainment in the marquee with the „Grafen“ band from Styria and the „Alpin X-Press“

Saturday, 11.08.2012

• 12.00 – 18.00 – Children and Family afternoon with Clown Show, little zoo etc.
• 12.00 – 18.00 – music and entertainment on the Farmer’s Market stage
• 13.00 – Nostalgic biking
• 16.00 – Traditional processsion with Beer wagons, festive coaches, whip crackers; Music troupe Saalbach Hinterglemm, Music Troupe Bruck an der Grlocknerstaße, traditionally dressed ladies, Glemmer Rifle Club, Riding Club etc.
• 20.00 – Entertainment with the Original Südtiroler Spitzbuam in the marquee and „Alpin X-Press“ at the Kirchenwirt.

• 11.00 Farmer’s Market Frühshoppen
• 10.30 – 17.00 – Children and family entertainmet with Clown Show, little zoo etc.
