New “Learn to Ride Park” and Boardercross on the Bernkogel!

Boarders and skiers can get their adrenalin kick this winter at the new Boarder-  and Skiercross on the Bernkogel. This 500m-long run was planned and built by none other than Boardercross World Championship legend Mario Fuchs. In the

“Learn to Ride Park” on the Bernkogel, beginners can try out their first moves on the boxes and kickers.

The Monster Energy NIGHTPARK presented by Roxy at the Unterschwarzach in Hinterglemm, the NITRO Snowpark aT the Asitz fun run in Leogang and the brand new “Learn to Ride Park” at the Bernkogel will get your freestyle hearts racing at the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang, delighting skiers and audience alike!

Thanks to the support of our pros, the snow parks are super professionally “shaped” daily and entice you to reach for the heights in the truest sense of the word! As well as the 3 snow parks, 55 highly-modern cable cars and over 200 snowy kilometres of perfect pistes guarantee endless fun and a snow guarantee right into the new year!

The Monster Energy NIGHTPARK presented by Roxy stretches from the mountain to the valley station of the Unterschwarzach cableway in Hinterglemm. This “U-Bahn” brings freestylers quickly from the centre of Hinterglemm to the park entrance on the mountain. The extended and improved floodlit facilities provide perfect light conditions and turns night into day for freestylers – whether boarders or skiers. Here, you can thus work on your moves until 9.30 pm.  Last winter the snowpark was also substantially enlarged and new features added during the renovation of the lift facilities. A tip for night-flyers, the daytime ski pass is already valid from 3 pm on the previous day.

With one easy, medium and pro-line each, there is something for each level and “flavour”. Various obstacles, such as big air kickers, spine, wall-ride as well as diverse rails and boxes make the snowpark a real freestyle paradise! The boys at Snowpark Design ensure the perfect condition of the park twice a day and the chill area invites you to hang out and get a load of the other’s tricks! Another “place to be” is the NITRO SNOWPARK at the Asitz fun run in Leogang! Optimum shaped obstacles with corners, big air kickers as well as diverse rails and boxes offer great training possibilities – also for local hero and Series Air&Style winner Stefan Gimpl. The shapers, Reini and Erwin from “HU-Cooperation” keep the NITRO Snowpark at its best all winter and have made the obstacles face south for the best light and terrain conditions.  This winter in the jib area, there are various rails and obstacles such as picnic table, butter box and the seesaw at easy level.

Brand new at the Ski Circus: especially for beginners, there’s an Easypark in Saalbach on the Bernkogel with the motto “Learn to Ride”, practising the first jumps on snowboards and TwinTip skis. Also new at the Bernkogel is the Skier- and Boardercross, which has been built and is continually monitored by boardercross pro Mario Fuchs and his team. www.nightpark.at

This winter too you can get the sensational ski-pass special POWER OF TEN: For all riders under the age of 19, the ski pass at the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang costs only 10 Euro on Saturday – amazingly little for limitless fun on the 200 snowy kilometres of perfect pistes and 55 highly-modern cableways at the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang! And on the Bonus Skiing days, kids (born 1996 and later) get a free ski pass on Sundays and in the pre-season period!

Ski Circus app & free WLAN hotspots

From the coming winter onwards, the Ski Circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang offers a total of 30 free WLAN hotspots at the mountain and valley stations. There’s a hotspot at each of the snowparks to put your best pics straight onto the net for the buddies at home. As well as this, the new Ski Circus app for Blackberry, iPhone and Android will be launched in time to provide guests with all the important information in and about the Ski Circus.
