BIG-5-BIKE Challenge

A CHALLENGE for ALL Freeriders !

The tour bikers and Freeriders get a special kick this summer at the BIG-5-BIKE Challenge: Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang have offered the 5-Gondel Tour alias BIG-5-BIKE Challenge for years as a special and unique highlight for the bike scene: The “challengers” have 5 cable cars available for them to use on this XXL tour on 5 different mountains, guaranteeing the absolute maximum freeride pleasure on one day. One complete circuit covers around 5.000 vertical metres; you only have to ride up 500 m of them under your own steam, the cable cars take care of the rest. During the entire XXL freeride tour you are of course free to do extra circuits of your favourite mountains, and notch up even more vertical metres in doing so. But be careful: don’t take too much time in doing so, because the BIG-5 circuit takes nearly the whole day itself. At the end of the day, what counts is not just the fact that you have been on all 5 mountains, but also the additional vertical metres that you have covered. At the end of the season there is given away a great prize among all successful Big-5 challengers. More information at: www.big-5.at

Numerous checkpoints and Snapshot-Stations lead you through the imposing mountainous world of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang region. When you get home, you can relive your tour virtually on the Internet, download photos from the Snapshot-Stations, and enter yourself into the challengers’ Hall of Fame.
